MORRIS LANE
ATHLETE, WELL-BEING & GOLF FOR LIFE!
THIS IS MY STORY
My name is Morris Lane, and I am a junior at St. Andrew High School in Savannah, Georgia. I was born in New York City and currently live with my parents and younger sister, Savannah. My father, Christopher, is from England, and my mother, Jasmine, is from Taiwan. I am fluent in English, Chinese, and Spanish. I spent 13 years in New Jersey, where I engaged in a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities.
I have been passionate about golf and soccer since I was six years old. Since 2014, I have been a member of the All-Star PGA Jr. League and have competed in the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship. At St. Andrew High School, I am a varsity player in football, soccer, and golf. My dedication to sports has earned me numerous awards in both golf and soccer, and I am proud to serve as the captain of our high school golf team. Additionally, I love teaching golf to younger players and volunteer my time at the local Boys and Girls Club and The First Tee program. Recently, I was honored to be selected as an ambassador for the Congaree Global Golf Initiative.
Academically, my favorite subject is Math, and I have consistently excelled, earning the Headmaster's Honor Roll for my achievements. My passion for learning extends beyond the classroom, and I am deeply interested in pursuing a future career in fields such as engineering, architecture, or education.
I am thrilled about the prospect of joining your esteemed college, where I can continue to grow both academically and athletically. I look forward to contributing to your community and making the most of the opportunities your institution offers. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Morris Lane
